data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/kate-middleton-duchess-of-cambridge\/\">Princess of Wales<\/a> has shared a message for <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/mothers-day\/\">Mother’s Day<\/a>, with professional video of the UK’s beautiful landscapes.<\/p>\n<p>It comes after a furore over her message last year <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/03\/11\/kate-middleton-issues-statement-edited-photo-confusion-20440214\/\">led to her picture being pulled from news agencies<\/a>, in a row over manipulation which dragged on for weeks and led to a public apology.<\/p>\n<p>She told how discrepencies seen in the family photo were not part of some big conspiracy, but her ‘amateur’ attempts at picture editing. <\/p>\n<p>For 2025, Kate Middleton told how she has been comforted by nature over the past year, during which she <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/01\/14\/kate-returns-hospital-treated-cancer-22358465\/\">received treatment for cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>She wrote: ‘Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary.<\/p>\n<p>‘This Mother\u2019s Day, let us celebrate Mother Nature and recognise how our bond with the natural world can help not only nurture our inner selves, but remind us too of the role we play within the rich tapestry of life. C.’<\/p>\n<p>The princess underwent a course of preventative chemotherapy after her cancer diagnosis and announced in September last year that she had completed her treatment.<\/p>\n<p>In January, Kate<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/01\/14\/kate-returns-hospital-treated-cancer-22358465\/\"> confirmed she is \u2018now in remission\u2019 <\/a>from cancer following a surprise visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital where she received her treatment.<\/p>\n<p>A message on social media, also signed \u2018C\u2019, said: \u2018I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We couldn\u2019t have asked for more.
