Prince Andrew<\/a>’s ex-girlfriend shared a ‘sick’ social media<\/a> post after Virginia Giuffre’s death<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lady Victoria Hervey<\/a>, 48, shared a link to a news story revealing Virginia took her own life, saying: ‘When lies catch up with you there’s no way out.’<\/p>\n

After receiving intense backlash, Victoria backtracked and admitted the death was ‘tragic’. <\/p>\n

She said: ‘I have taken the decision to pause my posts on the topic of Virginia Giuffre<\/a> at the this time.<\/p>\n

‘Irrespective of circumstances, suicide in anyone at anytime is tragic and in a young mother who has children even more.’ <\/p>\n

Victoria has attacked Virginia online before<\/a>, calling her ‘Queen of the fake photo’.<\/p>\n

After Virginia posted images of her bruised body following a crash with a bus, Victoria posted an image of herself smiling with the caption: ‘What is Karma.’<\/p>\n

Prince Andrew and Victoria briefly dated in 1999, and she has since defended him after Virginia claimed he sexually abused her when she was 17. <\/p>\n

Virginia was one of the most outspoken accusers of convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein<\/a> and his former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.<\/a><\/p>\n

She alleged they trafficked her to Prince Andrew<\/a> when she was 17, a claim which he has denied.<\/p>\n

Her long-time publicist Dini von Mueffling said her client was \u2018one of the most extraordinary human beings I have ever had the honour to know\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018Deeply loving, wise, and funny, she was a beacon to other survivors and victims,\u2019 Ms von Mueffling said.<\/p>\n
